The Bargain Store has a feel of the old Woolworths about it. That is to say it sells a huge variety of products, essentials for most households, at prices that can only be described as being extremely competitive.
John, his wife Dianne and their son Ashley are already well known in the town, having successfully run the Garden World shop in the High Street for many years. Now they have relocated Garden World to be incorporated in the spacious Bargain Store in Victoria Place. Ashley said, "We are aiming to provide items that people want at a reasonable price. We listen to what customers say they require, and then do our best to stock items which are in demand."
Perhaps the best description, in brief, of the Bargain Store is that it is an emporium of household and gardening items retailed at prices which should please most shoppers.  The store is open six days a week.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
Saturday 9am to 5 pm
